The National Bank of Bahrain has signed an agreement to become one of StartUp Bahrain’s strategic partners.
StartUp Bahrain, which was founded in 2017, helps connect startups with incubators, accelerators and investors.
Plus, Startups signed up to the ecosystem will have free cloud access from Tamkeen, lower taxes, and cheaper utility and internet costs.
Arif Janahi, head of commercial and SMEs at the National Bank of Bahrain, said, “Through our partnership with StartUp Bahrain, we look forward to stepping into the next wave of innovation and contributing towards the Kingdom’s national efforts to progress as a digital economy.
“We endeavour to support and empower local talent to realise their goal of becoming future business leaders, while helping them to unleash their full potential and thrive in today’s business environment.”
It is hoped the partnership will help the ecosystem achieve its goal of becoming one of the most prominent and actively growing in the region.
