Theoretical driving lessons in Bahrain will now be given online, the Directorate of Traffic has announced.
From Sunday (March 29), learner drivers will be taught the important points and themes in their own homes rather than at the driving learning building, with lessons offered in multiple languages.
Theoretical lessons at the building will now be suspended until further notice.
Brigadier Shaikh Abdul Rahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, Director General of Traffic, said the decision was part of precautionary measures taken by Bahrain to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
