Bahrain governorates hand out 16,000 Ramadan meals

Governorates and police departments across Bahrain have handed out more than 16,000 Ramadan meals so far.

The governorates have teamed up with a number of volunteers in coordination with the national Feena Khair (There is good in us) campaign.

Feena Khair was launched by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, National Security Adviser and Chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.

In the coming weeks, thousands more meals will be handed out as part of the initiative.

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) and the Ministry of Interior plan to distribute 23,000 Iftar meals to quarantine facilities, temporary sheltering centres and countrywide.

Volunteers across Bahrain are stepping up to help those in need at the moment.
