Bahrain launches drone to promote traffic safety

Bahrain has launched a drone that promotes traffic safety among road users, the General Directorate of Traffic has announced.

The drone, which is able to announce messages in multiple languages, will be involved in a campaign to promote safe crossing and other riding safety instructions.

Bahrain’s General Directorate of Traffic decided to launch the campaign following an increase in outdoor sports activities, including walking and cycling, in recent weeks.

The drones efforts will be mainly focused on group riders. It will also be able to highlight wrong parking.
