Bahrain’s Capital and Southern Governorates hand out food baskets

More than 3,000 food baskets have been distributed to needy families in the Capital and Southern Governorates of Bahrain.

The baskets were given out as part of the Feena Khair (There is good in us) national charity campaign.

Over Ramadan, more than 100,000 meals were handed out every day, and so far the “Your Food at Your Home” initiative has seen baskets given to 3,200 families.

The initiative was launched by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), in cooperation with the Interior Ministry.

If you’ve been affected financially by the coronavirus pandemic, you can register on for help.

Those who are eligible, such as private school bus drivers and employees in the hospitality sector, will be given aid to alleviate their financial burdens.
