Bahrain has extended its coronavirus restrictions until Friday June 25, the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has announced.
Restaurants and cafés will continue operating on a delivery or takeaway-only basis until then, and shopping malls and commercial shops will remain closed.
Salons, barbershops, cinemas, gyms, swimming pools and recreational centres will also be closed.
Schools and universities, as well as kindergartens and nurseries, will continue with online learning, with the exception of international exams.
There are no changes to the current travel procedures to the Kingdom, which means fully vaccinated travellers do not have to take a COVID-19 test on arrival.
Unvaccinated travellers will be subject to three COVID-19 tests, including one on arrival. Until the results from the first test come back, you must self-isolate.
All arrivals from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal must quarantine for ten days after landing in Bahrain.
Under current restrictions, supermarkets, bakeries, gas stations, banks and pharmacies can operate as usual.
