Kiss From a Rose singer on his musical comeback and singing on Bahrain

1 What can we expect from your performance in Bahrain this month?
I always say there is never a bad audience, just sub par performances. I try and make each night special. I’m blessed to have songs that people love. So adding those hits into my set makes it a great night.

2 You released 7 last year after a five-year break. Can we expect another lengthy break from you?
There is definitely something else in the pipeline – many new ideas and avenues I’m exploring, as all artists do. It’s the perk of the job.

3 What was a particularly big moment for you?
There have been so many great moments in my career. It’s hard to just identify one. I would say though, to my younger self: “Enjoy each moment more and cherish it”.

4 You once said all your songs are therapy. How?
Each story has been a chapter in my life and a way of expression. Each for different feelings, emotions, and milestones.

5 What other artist do you look up to most?
Stevie Wonder. It was his albums that made me ever want to become an artist in the first place.
