Bahrain's Merchant House launches sushi night every Thursday and Friday

Do you know your maki from your nigiri, and your sashimi from your temaki? Call yourself a bit of a sushi connoisseur? Then the Merchant House is laying on what sounds like could be the ideal night for you.

Every Thursday and Friday, the boutique hotel’s rooftop Indigo Restaurant will be hosting a sushi night.

You can pick up a five-piece set of nigiri, made with the local catch of the day, for just BHD7.5. And for those who are after a romantic date night, you can share 22 pieces of maki and nigiri for just BHD19.5.

There are plenty of rolls to choose from, including salmon and avocado, crab and mango, spicy tuna and cucumber, and beef carpaccio and asparagus.

And if that wasn’t enough to tempt you, Merchant House’s Indigo Restaurant is one of the most beautiful spots in the city – in fact, it made it on to our top places to Instagram.
