Here at Time Out, we’re firm believers in starting the New Year as you mean to go on – and for us, that means eating lots and lots of food.

If you’re the same, you’ll be pleased to know there are buffets, brunches and set menus being offered up across Bahrain for New Year’s Eve 2019.

From Italian to Greek and Asian to Indian, you’ll be able to eat your heart out no matter what cuisine you’re in the mood for.
Read on for our round up of all the New Year’s Eve dinners on offer this year.

Attic
If you’re a fan of Greek food and outdoor terraces, head down to Attic in Adliya this New Year’s Eve. This romantic spot will be offering up a set menu and unlimited house beverages.

Baharat Restaurant
If you love Spanish music and food, head down to Baharat Restaurant this New Year’s Eve where you’ll be able to get unlimited BBQ and seafood. The brunch hotspot will also be putting on a huge spread of desserts as usual.

Bahrain Bay Kitchen
If you’re not sure what kind of food you’re in the mood for, you’re bound to find something you like at Bahrain Bay Kitchen’s international buffet. There’s plenty of live cooking stations, including one dedicated to roasts, and there’s a seafood section where you can pick your fish before having it prepared to perfection.

Bahrain Conference Centre
If you’ve always wanted to go to the Rio de Janeiro carnival but can’t afford the flights, you should head down to the Crowne Plaza Bahrain’s New Year’s Eve Ball. You’ll enjoy a cocktail reception and a gala dinner before the live band and DJ take over for the dance show. The dress code is carnival themed or formal so you’ll even get to wear some of the fabulous outfits on display every year in Brazil. If you book before December 15, the night will cost you BHD63 – a 10 percent discount.

Choices
You’ll have plenty of food choices at this special festive buffet on New Year’s Eve. While you dine on food from across the globe you’ll get to enjoy a performance from a belly dancer and a Cuban band. You’ll also get free entry to Cellar 59’s party afterwards.

CUT by Wolfgang Puck
Start your New Year as you mean to go on with plenty of meat dishes from CUT by Wolfgang Puck. On New Year’s Eve the restaurant is offering up a four-course menu for BHD55, or a minimum spend of BHD60 for window seats.

Flames
If you’re in the mood for steak or seafood, make sure you choose Flames as your New Year’s Eve dinner spot this year. There’ll be a four-course set menu, plus live entertainment from singer Yaimelyn and saxophonist Franky Flower, and a welcome drink and midnight toast are included in the price. You’ll also get free entry to Cellar 59’s party later on in the evening.

Gulf Convention Centre
Bigger is always better and the Gulf Hotel’s New Year’s Eve dinner party is one of the biggest. For BHD60 you’ll enjoy a buffet dinner and get to see five acts including magicians and aerial performers. If you’ve got the little ones with you, they’ll even get their own countdown at 10.30pm.

InterContinental Regency
The InterContinental Regency will be hosting a gala dinner with a live dance show in the Al Riffa Ballroom this year. If you buy tickets before December 15, you’ll only have to pay BHD59 instead of BHD70.

Jumeirah Royal Saray
The Jumeirah Royal Saray has already transformed into a winter wonderland https://www.timeoutbahrain.com/christmas/423166-jumeirah-royal-saray-wil... this Christmas, and the New Year’s Eve party it’s throwing will be no different. Expect to enjoy a buffet spread with seafood, cheeses and desserts while singer Banah and her seven-piece band keep you up on your feet and dancing until the early hours.

La Mosaique
The Crowne Plaza’s all-day restaurant are offering up a buffet spread with free-flowing house beverages this New Year’s Eve.

McGettigan’s
You can’t go wrong with a McGettigan’s night brunch, particularly when you’re sat outside. On New Year’s Eve you’ll enjoy an international buffet and free-flowing house beverages between 8pm and 12.30am for BHD49. And if you’ve already made dinner plans, there’s a drunch package giving you unlimited house beverages between 8pm and 11.30pm for BHD25++. Resident band Roadhits will be there to keep you entertained, too.

Mövenpick Hotel
If you’ve always wanted to play James Bond (or one of his Bond girls), head down to Mövenpick Hotel’s Casino Royale-themed New Year’s Eve gala dinner. The evening will start with a drinks reception before dinner, before a troupe of dancers keep you entertained until the early hours.

Neyran Restaurant
Gorge yourself on Mediterranean dishes as belly dances and singer Raed keep you entertained at Neyran Restaurant this New Year’s Eve.

Re/ Asian Cuisine
If you want a New Year’s Eve dinner with a view, Re/ Asian Cuisine isn’t a bad choice. Located on the 50th floor of the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay, you’ll struggle to find a better spot. You can either get a four-course set menu meal for BHD55, or choose a window seat which has a minimum spend of BHD60.

Rosso
Pizza lovers, this one’s for you. Italian restaurant Rosso is putting on a four-course menu this New Year’s Eve with house beverage packages. Throughout the night you’ll be entertained by a violinist, and you’ll also get free entry to Cellar 59’s party later on.

Spices Restaurant
If you love Indian food, you won’t want to miss Spices’ family-friendly New Year’s Eve dinner. There’ll be a huge buffet of all your favourite dishes, plus the DJ will be playing Bollywood classics all night long.

Teatro
Another spot for people who don’t have a specific cuisine in mind, Teatro will be putting on a buffet for its New Year’s Eve dinner where you’ll get to choose from Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Italian dishes.

The Ritz-Carlton
Going forward into a new decade is the perfect time to look back fondly at one of our favourites with an ‘80s themed event. The Ritz-Carlton’s Al Noor Ballroom will play host to a gala dinner plus plenty of performances this New Year’s Eve. You’ll be able to graze on the buffet until 11.30pm and get unlimited house beverages until 12.30am for BHD95.

WU Restaurant
Asian food is the order of the day at WU Restaurant’s New Year’s Eve dinner, where you’ll be served a four-course meal alongside unlimited house beverages. You’ll also get free entry to the party at Cellar 59 once you’re finished, too.
