The world is set to welcome the Year of the Rat on Saturday January 25, and there’s no shortage of things to do in Bahrain to celebrate.

If you’ve always wanted to learn about cooking Chinese food, or just want to improve your skills in the kitchen, China Garden will be putting on a cooking master class with guest chef Chih-Yuan Lin. The talented chef will be telling you all his tips and tricks at the event which kicks off at 10.30am on January 25. If you don’t feel like cooking, there will also be a special menu on offer at The Gulf Hotel between January 21 and January 25.

Four Seasons Bahrain Bay
The brunch at the Four Seasons is one of the best in town, and for Chinese New Year it’s hosting a very special edition. Expect live dim sum stands, a Peking duck station, Singapore chili crab and prosperity tossed salad.

To celebrate Chinese New Year, WU Restaurant is putting on a special three or four-course set menu featuring authentic Asian cuisine. At the end of the evening, you’ll also get a red envelope with a lucky voucher inside.
