New sweet shop opens in Bahrain's Zinj area

If you’ve got a bit of a sweet tooth, get excited, because a new sweet shop has just opened in Zinj.

Bengal Sweets, which already has a store in Manama, has just launched its second outlet at Al Jazira Supermarket.

Sweets are prepared fresh daily, and you can pick up all kinds of treats from the region, including rasgulla, langcha and kalakand.

The store was founded by Mayeen Ashan in 2019.

If you’re craving dessert but aren’t sure what you fancy, Bengal Sweets is also offering up free samples for the whole of March.

Not a fan of sweets but want to try something new? A Vietnamese restaurant has just opened in Adliya, so you can satisfy your cravings for authentic pho.

Plus, there’s a new Japanese-Peruvian restaurant called Clay in the Terminal building, or you could check out the Gulf Hotel’s new Bahraini restaurant Fusions by Tala.
