Bahrain chippy The Frying Scotsman offering cook-at-home breakfast packs

With many of us starting to work from home in recent weeks (including the Time Out team), we’ve got a lot more time in the mornings.

There’s no commute, you don’t need to choose an outfit or even rush about getting the kids ready for school.

Now that you’ve got all this time on your hands, you can actually appreciate the most important meal of the day: breakfast.

And to help you do that, The Frying Scotsman is offering up breakfast packs for you to cook at home.

There are two options on offer - a full Scottish, or a full English. The full Scottish has the traditional meats you’d expect back home, plus two tattie scones, one black pudding and one white pudding. The English version has two hash browns, one black pudding and a bread roll instead.

Either option will set you back BHD1.8 per person.

Make sure you head over to The Frying Scotman’s Facebook page here for all the details.

The takeaway joint, which is Bahrain’s first Scottish style fish ‘n’ chip shop, opened just last month.

Head there for plenty of mince and tatties, haggis, and Scotch pies, plus fresh fish from the North Sea including haddock, cod, pollock, sole and kippers.

Don’t forget to check out our Time In section for more takeaway options across the Kingdom.
BHD1.8 (per person). Daily noon-2am. Adliya (1768 6669).
