Café/pub hybrid with homely food and good brunches

Time Out Says

Brenigan’s is a big café that looks like a cross between an Irish pub and the Dome chain restaurants; all pink patterned carpets, brass fittings and dark wood furniture. Considering its size, it’s a good job that it’s a popular venue. Couples, families and friends all brunch happily here on a Friday; this starts at 10am, so you can really make sure you get your money’s worth.

Pop music like Justin Timberlake’s version of ‘Cry Me A River’ regularly blares out, although thankfully the food isn’t as tawdry as the music. Buttered corn on the cob, vegetable quesadillas and country fries make for a filling lunch fit for the day after the night before. The service is exceptionally friendly and efficient, making Brenigan’s an excellent destination for a leisurely weekend lunch or brunch.
