Art Rotana launches Wu

New Asian restaurant opens in Amwaj

It’s not as though we’re lacking options for Asian dining in Bahrain but when a new restaurant launches that’s as unique and progressive at Wu Restaurant & Lounge at Art Rotana, it’s definitely something to celebrate. Especially as they have kimchi on the menu.

Wu, which translates as the number five in Mandarin, is a modern-chic venue that offers a selection of authentic dishes from five Asian countries (go figure). That’s sharing plates with a contemporary twist from China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand.

With a backdrop of beach and lush gardens, Wu encompasses an indoor restaurant, trendy lounge and beautiful outdoor terrace. There’s no doubt this place is going to prove a hit among foodie circles.

You won’t have to wait long for the official Time Out Bahrain review of this place (but we’ll give them a minute to find their feet first).

Art Rotana, Amwaj Islands (16 000 111).
