Lebanese Restaurant

Quite possibly the best shawarma in all of Bahrain

Time Out Says

Tucked in the back streets of this unimpressive neighbourhood, The Lebanese Restaurant serves what could be the best shawarma in town. It’s a bothersome trek to this part of the city, but with promises of a juicy chicken shawarma stuffed with tomatoes, parsley, and a whole lotta love, you’ll forget your taxi ordeal.

But there’s a catch: this eaterie is basic at best. The walls and floors are tiled, making The Lebanese Restaurant look like a big Lebanese bathroom. And to the chagrin of many, there’s an upstairs ‘family’ section for women and children, and a downstairs men-only section. But again, in spite of these snags, it’s that heavenly shawarma that reigns once more.
