The launch of Tilly’s Concept will delight Bahrain’s hipsters

Enter urban cool

A smart, urban haven for fashionable folk has opened its cool, glass doors in Seef Mall, in addition to its branch at Barbar’s Jawad Dome.

Tilly’s Concept was originally founded in 2011 and is the brainchild of businesswoman and entrepreneur Sophia Jawad. It’s a multi-brand store, featuring independent labels by local, regional and international designers with unique products ranging from accessories, outerwear, ready-to-wear apparel, shoes and sunglasses.

The store itself is warm, cosy and inviting. Rustic wooden finishes, white brick walls and retro metallic accents resemble something you’d find in the world’s hipster havens (think Shoreditch, San Francisco or Portland, for example), emphasising its mission of contemporary cool.

So, if you’re looking for comfort and style to satisfy your own inner hipster, right in the heart of Bahrain, then the shop has carefully handpicked the latest trends for you.

The likes of UK-based fashion accessory brand Skinnydip London appears, alongside Italy’s Ross & Brown, which specialises in vintage-inspired eyewear. From the region, find designer planners from stationery specialists The Yard Kuwait, and born right here in Bahrain, there’s also our very own J9sharabi T-shirts.

That one-of-a-kind outfit or thoughtful, funky gift is waiting right here. And soon to be in Dubai and Doha by early next year, too.
Open daily 10am-10pm. Gate 5 (opposite Monsoon), Seef Mall, Seef (17 162 594). Other location: Jawad Dome, Barbar (17 008 471).
