An intense set of extreme racing challenges are coming to the GCC in the new year *and* it’s only an hour away from the Kingdom.
It’s been a while since we’ve had the glorious obstacles in Bahrain with the last being back in 2020, so if you’ve been missing all the action and adrenaline – it’s only a short flight away.
That’s right, for the first time ever, a Spartan Race Trifecta of tough obstacles testing endurance, strength and agility will be held over a single weekend at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
The Sprint, Super and Beast races are part of Spartan Race Middle East’s wild challenges and obstacle courses that will truly test the limits of competitors.
When is the Spartan Race Trifecta happening?
The Spartan Race Trifecta will be held on Saturday January 25 and Sunday January 26, 2025 in Dubai.
The races will see people pushed to their absolute limits while running through mud, climbing on top of cages and leap over fire to get their hands on a medal.
The Sprint race on Saturday January 25 will challenge competitors over a distance of five kilometres and cover 20 different obstacles including wall climbs, a barbed wire crawl and a spear throw.
The Super race on Sunday January 26 doubles the distance to 10km and adds an extra five obstacles including a climbing bender and stairway to Sparta.
A kids’ version of the race will also be held on both days.
And the Beast race on Saturday January 25 doubles the distance and adds an extra kilometre just for good measure. This one has 30 obstacles to navigate including swing tests of upper body strength.
The Spartan brand has gained global recognition, with the recent Netflix series and the Beast World Championships in Abu Dhabi solidifying its reputation as a premier endurance event.
It’s the first time the Spartan Race Trifecta will be held in Dubai, with previous iterations being held across the world including Bahrain, the USA, Europe, Korea and the Philippines.
Now licensed by ITP Media Group, the new partnership signifies a strategic shift to encompass the broader Middle Eastern market, and a renewed regional commitment.
