Bahrain’s women football championships to start next month

The Bahrain’s women football championships are set to start next month and will continue through to April, it has been announced.

Clubs and football academies must fill in their applications and send them off to the Bahrain Football Association before January 31.

The championship will be organised on February 3, and we’ll keep you up to date on all the latest developments.

The news comes after Bahrain won the GCC Women’s Sports Championships in Kuwait in November.

The Kingdom took home 77 medals in total, 36 gold, 28 silver and 13 bronze.

Participants will get the chance to take on different routes ranging from 10 km up to 21 km, with obstacles numbering between 20 and 30.
