You can stream Wimbledon on Twitter this year

The action is being broadcast via a Wimbledon stream on Twitter

It’s that time of year where casual tennis fans develop an unhealthy obsession with the sport, as Wimbledon has kicked off today.

If you’re trying to sneak a peek on your break from work, or looking to keep up with the latest scores when you’re at home or on the go, you can keep up with all the action, for free, via Twitter.

The official Wimbledon Twitter channel is live streaming the best of the action with continuous coverage from around the tournament during the hours of play, for the next fortnight. Wimbledon 2017 kicked off on Monday July 3, with Britain and world number one Andy Murray hoping to secure his third title and successfully defend his 2016 crown.

The final is taking place on Sunday July 16, and you can watch all the action unfold at or directly on the Wimbledon website:
