Bahrain photowalk promises to help you capture the best of the Kingdom

If you want to ace your Instagram snaps, but aren’t sure where is best in Bahrain to shoot, we might have the event for you.

Up to 50 photographers will be meeting up to go on a three-hour walk across Manama capturing the very best of the city on Saturday October 5.

Setting off from the Bahrain National Museum, walkers will visit a number of top spots before finishing up at Al Ghous Park.

The event is part of the Worldwide Photo Walk, which takes place across the globe on the first Saturday of October every year.

No matter what camera – or phone – you use, everyone is welcome, and this could be the perfect way to make friends across the Kingdom.

While there’s no cost to the event, walkers are encouraged to donate a few dinars to The Springs of Hope Kenya Orphanage, the charity the organisation supports.

And if you think one of your photographs is particularly special, you can submit it into a competition, where the top prize in previous years has included a top-of-the-range camera and subscriptions to photo editing programs.

You can find out more on the photowalk Facebook event here or from the official website here.
