If you can’t make it to Saudi Arabia for the country’s 89th National Day, or if you just want to join in with the celebrations, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has you covered.
BTEA will be hosting five days of activities between September 19 and 23, including fireworks and musical performances by traditional bands.
You’ll also be able to spot traditional sailboats sporting both Saudi and Bahraini flags throughout the special occasion.
It is hoped the events will strengthen relations between the two Kingdoms.
Dr Ali Follad, a tourism advisor at BTEA, said, “On the occasion of KSA’s National Day which we hold very close to our hearts, we would like to express our congratulations to the wise leadership and the people of Saudi Arabia.
“We also welcome all visitors and residents to participate in the celebrations which will be held over a period of five days across the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
Follad added: “We will continue to work closely with our representative office in Riyadh to create even more unique tourism products with an aim to attract tourists to Bahrain, further boosting the national economy.”
