Bahrain to host free concert for International Day of Peace

Looking for something to do this weekend but don’t have any cash to spare?

Luckily for you, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities is hosting a free concert in Manama this Saturday.

The performance will see Oud player Saad Mahmood Jawad accompanied on stage by seven professional musicians from different nationalities and cultures.

The group, from Musicians Without Borders, are all united by the language of love and peace.

Bahrain is hosting the gig, which starts at 8pm on Saturday September 21 at the Cultural Hall, in celebration of the International Day of Peace which first started in 1981.

The Al-Bayareq Al-Bayda’a Society and “Inspire” team will also take part in the ceremony.
