Bahrain is set to host another edition of the Women Power Summit in October, bringing together 90 male and female speakers in the hopes of helping women in leadership roles.
The annual event, which will run from October 13 to 14, will be held at the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea and Spa.
Around 2,000 attendees will listen to talks and workshops from inspiring women including Special Olympics athlete Aisha Alsubaie, feminist club co-founder Aysha Mutaywea, and genetics expert Dr Maryam Matar.
The theme will centre around Women in Leadership: Inspiring Action and Leading Change, and sessions will focus on topics such as building a social media influence, making a bigger space for women in tech and mastering the art of negotiation.
Women are also encouraged to enter the power pitch competition where you could win tickets to the Maldives and mentorship from industry experts to turn your idea into a reality.
And if you can’t make it to the summit, but still want to get involved, the WPS organisers are hosting a group run on October 5 at 6.30am, starting from Dessange in Manama.
