Bahrain International Circuit’s open track nights return this weekend

If you’ve always wanted to tackle the epic turns of Bahrain International Circuit, but have zero Formula 1 experience, now’s your chance.

Sakhir will be open to the public this Friday and Saturday, meaning those with a need for speed can take their own cars and motorbikes on to the famous track.

On Friday night (October 11), drivers will take on BIC’s 2.55 km inner track, while motorists on Saturday night will get to take a spin on the 5.421 km Grand Prix track.

Track sessions will be held between 4pm and 11pm both nights, and drivers can register at BIC from 3pm onwards.

A full night of driving will set you back BHD94.5, while a half-night session is BHD68.5. You can also take part in a single session for BHD31.5.

For those of you who aren’t satisfied with your own vehicles, you can also drive a Jaguar F-Type on the track for BHD63.
And if you want to get a feel for a real F1 car, you can sign up for a passenger ride in a Radical SR3 which goes from zero to 100 kmh in just 3.4 seconds for BHD37.

You can find out more information on the BIC official website here.
BHD94.5 (full night), BHD68.5 (half night), BHD31.5 (single session). Fri Oct 11-Sat Oct 12 4pm-11pm. Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir (1745 0000).
