Five sensational things to do in Bahrain this weekend

Brazilian Friday brunch

If you love Latin music and Brazilian food, Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea and Spa is where you need to be this weekend. On October 18 the hotel is throwing a Copacabana Friday brunch, complete with a live band and special kids’ corner.

International music festival
Bahrain’s massive international music festival is back again, and things are all kicking off this weekend. On Saturday Bahrain National Theatre is hosting the L’Orchestre Lamoureux who will be hosting an evening of music from Mozart. And if you’re after something for the kids to do, there’s also a drum making workshop being held by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.

Pink-themed high tea
For the entire month of October, the Jumeirah Royal Saray Bahrain is hosting a pink-themed high tea to raise money for breast cancer awareness month. Enjoy pastries, scones and cakes while supporting a good cause.

Rooftop party

Partying up on the 25th floor with fantastic views of the World Trade Centre is always a good idea, and it’s an even better one when it’s free entry. Rooftop bar Alto is hosting a second anniversary event this Saturday, and there’ll be two different DJs plus a belly dancer to keep you entertained.

Tribute act festival
We’ve saved the best till last this week – there’s an entire 12 hours of tribute act performances happening this Friday at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club. Enjoy the music of Maroon 5, The Arctic Monkeys, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and David Bowie without the ridiculous prices.
