Night time photowalk around Bahrain's Muharraq to be held in November

There are certain spots in Bahrain that are just made to be seen at night. Whether that’s the glittering Manama skyline, or the historic Arad Fort, some places just come alive when the sun goes down.

Capturing the unbelievable beauty of some of these sights isn’t an easy task – particularly when you’re a newbie photographer or if you’re just using your phone.

Luckily for you, the Shaikh Ebrahim Centre for Culture and Research is organising a night-time photowalk around Muharraq next month (Friday November 22).

Starting outside Bin Matar House, you’ll be taken around all the top spots in the former capital by Ishaq Madan, a self-taught photographer and banker.

You’ll get to experiment with long exposure photography and light painting to get a “new perspective of the historic areas” visited during the two-hour trip, which starts at 8pm.

Photographers of all levels are encouraged to come to the free event, whether you have the latest DSLR or are just starting out with your iPhone.
