Bahrain International Circuit to host National Day festival

Excitement is building for the Bahrain Grand Prix 2020 after tickets went on sale last week – but Sakhir is hosting another exciting event next month you won’t want to miss.

Bahrain International Circuit will be throwing a massive four-day festival from December 13 to December 16 to coincide with National Day.

Singer Balqees, who was born in the United Arab Emirates, will be one of the major acts performing on stage next month. There will also be a number of stunt shows and other performers for the duration of the event.

This year’s National Day festival will coincide with the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) which will see eight hours of racing from 3pm on December 14.

Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of the BIC, said: “We are very proud to be welcoming back the World Endurance Championship this December.

“The Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain, together with the BIC National Day Festival, makes for a unique celebration.

“We expect to attract some of our biggest ever crowds to enjoy the very best of endurance racing and the huge amount of entertainment on offer for National Day, including regional superstars for our supporting concert programme. It will be a truly festival atmosphere at the Home of Motorsport in the Middle East.”
