Bahrain’s only five-star boutique hotel recently launched a Friday brunch at its rooftop restaurant Indigo. We’ve already named the spot as one of the best places to Instagram in Bahrain, and you’ll be one of the first to give it a go. Expect dishes including poached eggs, sushi, and mini Yuzu cheesecake.

If you know all the words to All I Want for Christmas Is You, and reckon you’ve got a cracking voice, head down to Txoko every Friday until December 20. The bar is hosting a karaoke competition, and three winner each winners will go through to the grand final on December 27, where you’ll be in with a chance of winning a stay at one of the hotel’s luxury suites.

Enjoy a British roast dinner

Free yoga lesson
Qal’at Al Bahrain will be hosting two free yoga sessions over the next few weeks. After practicing your downward dog, you’ll be given a talk on chakras by Virginie Dreyer, the owner of jewellery store TinyOm.

It can be extremely difficult to capture the beauty of an area at night, but luckily for you, a professional photographer will be hosting a free night-time walk around Muharraq showing you all the tricks of the trade. You’ll also get to experiment with light painting.
