Adhari Park is set to play host to a festival dedicated to women this weekend, following Bahraini women’s day celebrations on Sunday.
On December 6 and December 7, there will be a whole host of events going on at the amusement park between 4pm and 10pm.
These include poetry readings from the Bahrain Writers’ Circle, live painting sessions by artists from across the globe, and a panel discussion on work life balance.
Plus, guests will be able to buy food from a number of stalls and take part in games and competitions.
There will also be workshops on topics including leadership and the ability to influence, and ethical leadership.
This will be the first time the Womania Winterfest is held in Bahrain.
Attendees to the free event can enjoy unlimited rides at the amusement park for three hours for just BHD5, too.
Vaijayantee Bhattacharya, founder of Creatree Services which is organising the festiva says: “We hope to be able to provide a refreshing change for all women through this festival where they can enjoy themselves thoroughly with food, music, entertainment, as they rediscover the child in them.
“This is our noble endeavor to connect all women across cultures and communities, and empower them through shared knowledge, visions and experiences.”
