South African rapper Jack Parow coming to Bahrain this month

South African rapper Jack Parow will be performing in Bahrain at the end of this month.

The artist will be playing the Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Saar on Thursday January 30.

Tickets for the set will set you back BHD10 if you’re a club member, or BHD12 if you aren’t. The gig should last from 8pm until 11pm.

Parow shot to fame in December 2009 after releasing his EP Cooler as ekke which quickly hit number one in the charts and became the first Afrikaans song to have a million views on YouTube.

He has previously collaborated with artists including electronic band Die Heuwels Fantasties and hip-hop group Die Antwoord.

Parow’s performance in the Kingdom comes as part of celebrations to mark a decade since he released his first EP.

Last month, shoe brand Puma partnered with Parow to release a pair of limited edition Veldskoen shoes bearing the rapper’s logo.
