Bahrain February 2020: All the events you should be looking forward to

January is always an awful month. You’ve got no money (and no energy) after all the Christmas and New Year’s Eve events across Bahrain, and nobody wants to leave the house.

But the worst month of the year is nearly over, and February is filled to the brim with fun things to do.

Read on for our round up of all the events you should be looking forward to in February 2020.

Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition
The Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition kicked off for another year on January 15, and won’t end until mid-February – meaning there’s plenty of time for you to absorb some culture. There’s no better time to head to the Bahrain National Museum and Bahrain National Theatre.

Bahrain for All festival
The Kingdom is full of different cultures and nationalities, and the Bahrain for All festival celebrates each and every one of them. Around 50,000 people will attend the two-day event and enjoy food and learn about traditions from across the globe.
Free. Thu Feb 6-Fri Feb 7. Bahrain Bay (no number).

Bingo Loco
This whacky bingo-orientated event, which originated in Ireland, will be headed to Bahrain for the first time on February 6. You can expect dance offs, lip sync battles and weird prizes, and an absolutely cracking night out.

Bob Marley tribute festival
Coral Bay Bahrain will be paying tribute to the late Bob Marley with a reggae festival to coincide with what would have been his birthday. There’ll be plenty of acts, and the entry fee includes unlimited house beverages.

La Plage beach festival
Sofitel Bahrain’s free beach festival is returning on February 20, and the three-day event is one you won’t want to miss. You’ll get access to the hotel’s pool and beach, and there’ll be plenty of entertainment for both you and your kids.
Free. Thu Feb 20-Sat Feb 22 1pm-7pm. Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa, Zallaq (1763 6363).

Six Nations

Trifecta weekend
A Spartan Trifecta weekend will be held in Bahrain for the first time on February 21 and February 22. You’ll get to push yourself by taking on 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km courses filled with obstacles.
From BHD17. Fri Feb 21-Sat Feb 22 7am onwards. Lost Paradise of Dilmun water park, Hawrat Ingah (no number).
