Celebrate St Patrick’s Day
Although the big day isn’t until Tuesday, there’s still plenty of celebrations going on across Bahrain. There’s a Thursday night brunches and Friday day brunches for you to enjoy, and you can expect plenty of traditional Irish food and beverages. We’ve got a full guide to all the goings on here.

Last month The Merchant House launched a weekly live music night, and this Friday saxophonist Kristina Sax will be performing. The night kicks off at 8pm, and you’ll need to get there early to grab a seat.

Check out a new restaurant
The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain launched an Indonesian pop-up restaurant earlier this week, and you should definitely check it out before everyone else hears about it. Bali-born chef I Made Suriana will be serving up traditional dishes like Sate Ayam and Ayam Taliwang, right next to the marina.

Hazel Rooftop Lounge regularly puts on gigs, with artists ranging from Sandi Thom to Mo Zowayed, and this Friday Franky Flowerz will be performing. You won’t want to miss it.

Visit the Jurassic-era sea creature exhibition
The Jurassic-era sea creature exhibition, which has replica casts from the Natural History Museum in London, has been at the Bahrain National Museum since December, but it’s coming to an end this week. If you haven’t been already, you must make it down before Monday. The kids will love it, we promise.
