Gulf Air to launch flights to Milan, Munich and Mykonos in July 2020

If you’re already dreaming of where you want to go to escape the heat of the summer months next year, you should be thinking about adding Italy, Germany and Greece to your list.

From July 2020, Gulf Air will be adding direct flights to Milan, Munich and Mykonos. Bahrain’s national carrier will also be reinstating flights to Malaga in Spain during summer 2020.

Milan will be served by Gulf Air all year round, while Munich and Mykonos will have four and three weekly flights respectively between July and September 2020.

The route between Bahrain and Malaga will have two weekly flights, and there will be three weekly flights to Salalah in Oman, too.

Gulf Air’s chief executive officer Krešimir Kučko said, “It is with great enthusiasm we announce our flights to Milan and Munich which both are very popular to our worldwide customer base for leisure and business travel.

“Mykonos will also be a great boutique seasonal summer destination in Greece catering to the growing demand to experience this beautiful island and its luxurious resorts during the summer holiday.

“As our fleet expands and with the arrival of our new Airbus A321neo and more Dreamliners next year, we can now reach further places and serve more long haul regions.”

The new destinations were announced at the World Travel Market 2019.
