Heading to Bahrain for the Grand Prix just got a whole lot easier thanks to a new Formula 1 package launched by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA).
It is hoped the new package will increase the amount of tourists visiting the Kingdom for the event from March 19 to 22. Bahrain already offers F1 visitors free eVisas and visas on arrival.
BTEA’s chief executive officer Nader Al Moayyed said, "The Kingdom of Bahrain will be hosting the Formula 1 race next year and introducing this package forms an important cooperation between BTEA, the national carrier Gulf Air, Bahrain International Circuit and travel agencies.
“With the launch of this package, we expect an increase in inbound tourism from all over the world, which will have a positive impact on the tourism sector, increasing its contribution to the national economy.”
The launch is part of a long-term strategy by BTEA to develop the Kingdom’s tourism sector as part of the 2030 economic vision.
