Bahrain's national airline Gulf Air gets four-star official rating

Gulf Air has been awarded a four-star official airline rating based on positive passenger feedback.

Bahrain’s national carrier was given the rating at the Future Travel Experience – APEX Expo in Singapore.

More than one million flights across 600 airlines were rated by passengers based on the overall experience, plus subcategories including seat comfort, cabin service, entertainment and food and beverage options.

Gulf Air’s chief executive officer Krešimir Kučko said, “We are proud to be rated by many passengers around the globe as a Four Star Major Airline.

“APEX is a reputable organization with valid and reliable rating system in which Gulf Air was rated as a four-star major airline for a number of factors regarding the travel experience.

“We are working hard to continuously elevate our products and service levels to be the customer’s choice and best in class”.

The news comes after Gulf Air announced plans to launch flights to Milan, Munich and Mykonos in July 2020.

Gulf Air also launched direct flights to the Maldives in October.

There are now five weekly flights between the Maldives’ capital Male’ and Muharraq.
