Gulf Air will allow unlimited free changes on flights to increase flexibility for its customers in light of the impact of coronavirus on travel, it has announced.
The policy will be valid for flights already booked for 2020, and all new bookings before March 31.
And, if you’re a member of the Falconflyer loyalty programme, you will keep your current status and membership tier for the next three months even if you do not complete the required number of trips.
In a statement, the airline said, “Gulf Air would like to reassure its loyal passengers that it is applying strict International Air Transport Association (IATA) disinfectant procedures inside the aircraft cabin and it urges passengers to apply preventative measures recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
“The airline continuously coordinates with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and with airports throughout its network to take all precautionary and preventive measures in order to ensure the safety and security of our passengers and crew.”
